SABIC, based in the Dutch city Genk, is a successful modern company specialized in plastic for the automotive industry. Due to expansion reasons, adjustments had to be made in the water basin for the cooling water. In order to mix hot and cold cooling water, Fluor Engineering has made a design proposal for perforated baffles. The design has been refined by STC Trade and Perfoplast has been applied for the perfect solution.
The baffles consist of:
- 6 Perfoplast baffles, perforated HDPE, dimensions of 4560 x 495 mm;
- 2 vertical guidance of solid HDPE with dimensions 4260 x 120 x 200 mm;
- 1 Perfoplast sloping baffle as a bottom panel with space for piping;
- Dimensions: 4600 x 4280 mm (width x height)
The baffles are successfully installed during Christmas 2018 in just one day.
