Perfoplast is part of STC Trade B.V. STC Trade e.g. was founded in 2015 to design, manufacture and supply durable plastic filters for ships. Although most filters are made of steel, plastic is a better solution. Plastic is seawater resistant (no corrosion), much lighter and cheaper than steel. For this reason, perforated plastic sheets have been developed under the brand name Perfoplast™. Perfoplast is introduced in the market early 2009. The filters have taken flight since then. From a long experience with fiberglass reinforced plastics, the Fiberstrain™ strainers are also designed and produced. These comply with L3 approval and are approved by Lloyds Register. Thanks to our product developments we can offer greatly improved, but not more expensive, solutions within your market. This way our heating mats were created and the internal and external shavers were added to the product range.
